Dear Families
Welcome to Kindergarten! I am very excited that your child will be a part of my Accelerated Kindergarten classroom this year! I can’t wait to get to know your family. I know we are all going to have a BLAST as we learn and grow together. Before we begin our journey into the 2017-2018 school year, I would like to take some time to tell you a little bit about myself.
My name is Gelsy Rodriguez and I have lived in Cape Coral for 19 years. I grew up in Miami a great majority of my life. I studied at Florida Gulf Coast University and got my BA in Early Childhood education. I am currently working and will complete by the end of this year my certification in Gifted Endorsement.
I have a wonderful, amazing family! I recently got engaged and I have two sons, Jordan (24) and Jeremy (23). I also have two dogs, a lab named Tess and a cocker spaniel named Coco. Things I love to do in my spare time are reading, organizing, traveling, and boating!
Throughout the year I am always available for any questions or concerns you may have. I believe communication is the key to a successful year! I am very excited and can't wait to meet you all!
